Our Mission

A parent's goal is to support their child no matter what life throws at them.

Our goal is to help.

The Bougainvilla House is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization with a mission to support children, adolescents, and young adults who are struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues through counseling, therapy & individualized treatment in a comfortable, home-like environment.

Our goal is to nurture a stigma-free atmosphere that empowers our youth with the essential coping skills that will help them develop emotionally as mature, independent adults.

By providing a safe space for healing we help to create happier, healthier families and a stronger community.

Counseling

From school stress to college anxiety and issues with substance use – children and young adults are facing more pressure than ever.

Our clinical team collaborates with clients and their families to identify concerns and achieve their goals. We tailor our therapeutic approach to discover what works well for each client and their family.

Our group therapy sessions are available for those who are 18 years or younger and dealing with mental health and/or substance use issues. After an initial consultation, our clinicians may recommend group therapy to your teen.

Therapeutic Treatments

The sensory room is ideal for clients who are on the autism spectrum or face social and emotional challenges. The sensory room helps children learn how to self-regulate in a safe place and increase their focus at school and home.

The bio bed provides clients with auditory and visual stimulation that helps them achieve a deeply relaxed state. Used for clients who are experiencing substance use issues, the bio bed can ease the first symptoms of withdrawal on the body. It can also be used to help with anxiety, depression, PTSD, chronic muscle pain and more.

Parenting Workshops & Wellness Wednesday Webinars

We also offer additional resources for parents and families. Our Parenting Workshops cover difficult topics such as shifting family dynamics (divorce, co-parenting, etc.), the challenges of parenting in the 21st century, and more.

Our Wellness Wednesday Webinars are free virtual workshops that help you foster and sustain a positive and happier family environment. Regular Wellness Wednesday Webinars include mental, emotional, and physical health topics and activities such as zumba classes, yoga, cooking, and more.
